Your Host, Miriam Grace

Miriam Grace, Psychotherapist

I  have been a psychotherapist for three and a half decades, training, speaking and writing about therapy alongside a thriving practice with individuals, couples and groups.

I now specialise in working with women in midlife – peri-menopause; menopause and post menopause – supporting their flourishing and being with them in their despair at times.

I’m particularly known for my work with later in life lesbians and for furthering the psychological understanding of women’s sexuality and autonomy.

Miriam has two identities on social media:
Blue Skies psychotherapy – all things, therapy.
Women of Steel –  podcast, publications, conferences, media appearances and speaking engagements.

This podcast was suggested to me by a colleague and I thought I’d give it a go as part of celebrating 35 years in practice as a therapist and to contribute to my “legacy” in my 60th year.

I wanted it to be a project to highlight the stories of remarkable everyday women and I think you’ll agree it is already doing this now.

Season One has been so much more than I could’ve hoped for, and I’ve enjoyed it increasingly as we’ve gone along and I’ve relaxed. Each guest is a Woman of Steel and even those I already knew, it felt as if I was meeting in a new way with fresh eyes. Recording for Season Two has already begun.

Your help and support means the world to me. To attract more guests and to keep the pod going, you can subscribe (completely free and quick to do) and follow, like, comment and share on social media.
